Creamy Banana Nut Bowl

This hot (or cold, if you please!) breakfast bowl will help you power through your morning. Not only is it rich and creamy but will also fill you up for a great start to your day. This bowl is one of my all time favorites!

Creamy Banana Nut Bowl

You need:

  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup raw pecans
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • Sea salt
  • 1 banana 
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon 
  • 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cups coconut milk

Get cooking:

Cover raw nuts with water and add a pinch of salt. Let soak overnight (8 hours). 

Rinse nuts and add to blender with banana, cinnamon, honey and coconut milk. Omit honey during Whole30! Blend the mixture until creamy and dreamy. Warm in microwave or heat on stove for about 5 minutes. Top with your choice of goodies such as granola, dash of cinnamon, dried cherries, fresh fruit and/or a bit of extra honey. Enjoy leftovers for 5-7 days refrigerated. 

*Soaking the nuts helps with digestion!
